Florida Part II: Sea World

Through R's conference, we got a discount on half-day passes to Sea World. We had a fabulous time. It was my first experience there, as well as the boys'. So, after R's morning meetings, we headed out. Luckily, the forecast was incorrect for rain, so the crowds were low and we enjoyed full sunshine all afternoon.

We saw:
A walrus
Just pretend he's winking at you.... That glass is really hard to take pictures through.

A seal

Shamu
I'm so proud of this picture!

Waiting for Shamu

After Shamu
(Notice the continuation of the fuzzy spot. We hadn't noticed yet.)

And more...Shamu!

We let the boys play one of the games, where you choose a plastic penguin as it floats by, winning a prize according to the color on the bottom of it. They were so excited to win a prize! Luckily for us and our suitcase space, they won the smallest ones. :)
So cute. D-man has always had a special place in his heart for penguins.

D-man and the penguins.

We also went to the dolphin show--and loved it! They had a lot of extras--
divers, acrobats, etc, and it was so fun to watch.Continuation of blurry spot acknowledged...

We also saw sea lions, frogs, alligators, Dory and Nemo fish, dragonfish, sharks (their exhibit is AWESOME: moving sidewalk in thick-plastic tunnel through shark aquarium), and more. We had such a fun time, and managed to get in one more Shamu show (in the dark) before we left.
Thanks, Daddy!
