Man, we need to get out more....

Overheard tonight through the boys' bedroom door after R heard someone sneak out:

Mr. B: did you see 'em?

D-man: no, i didn't see them sleeping on their bed.

B: well did you check downstairs?

D: no, they weren't there (but we were).

B: did you check in the kitchen?

D: no, they weren't there. maybe they were in the living room.

B: well where are they?

D: maybe they were hiding.

B: or maybe they went on a date.

D: i hope so. (Even he knows we need one.)
but then who will wake us up in the morning? maybe grandma and grandpa. and punkin sleepy head. remember punkin sleepy head?

B: you mean uncle jordan and uncle collin?

D: yeah, and me too.

B: what?

D: i'm a sleepy punkin head.

B: you're a sleepy punkin head? giggle, giggle.

D: so they went out on a date? (I know, it's hard to fathom)

B: but don't worry, they'll come back. (Especially if we never left.)
