Logan Cemetery

On the way to Bear Lake, we stopped at the cemetery in Logan to show the boys where Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma Eastley are buried. It is a very beautiful spot, and one that I have been to many times (since my grandfather passed away over 20 years ago), but this was the first since my grandmother passed away last winter. It was peaceful to think of them there together after all this time.
(Mr. B took this picture)

While waiting for cousins to arrive, we walked down the path a bit to one of our favorite (is it weird to say that?) headstones. I have many memories of trying to move this ball. My mom wants something just like this: big and heavy. ;)

We all had Aggie Ice Cream (which, even though I am a Cougar through and through, I heartily admit that the Aggies have us beat in the ice cream department) and took a few pictures before heading up the canyon to the lodge for the Eastley Reunion. Stay tuned for our theme this year....

Happy ice cream smiles.
