We wanted to bless BabyGirl at church before the grandparents left, so we planned months ago what Sunday we would do it. Luckily, she arrived just in time to fit our plans. :) It was a busy day, but we were so glad to have family there to share this special event with us.
There was just enough fabric left over from my wedding dress (extra, that is. We did NOT cut up mine!). Thank you, Grandma E, for making such a beautiful dress. It made the day even more special.
It is such a sweet thing to listen to a father give his child a blessing. I'm so grateful that R has been able to do this for each of our children. It was a lovely day!
